Led by the Prophet Velen and guided by the divine naaru , they traveled throughout the cosmos in search of a safe world to settle on, eventually landing on a planet they would come to call Draenor , or "Exiles' Refuge". For centuries, the draenei lived in relative peace with Draenor's native orcs , until agents of the Burning Legion found them. As the orcs were corrupted by the Legion and formed the original Horde , the draenei were slaughtered en masse and driven into hiding. Eventually, they managed to escape Draenor on the Exodar , a vessel of the naaru fortress of Tempest Keep , crash-landing on Azeroth ; more specifically, on the Azuremyst Isles off the western coast of Kalimdor. Once they had arrived on Azeroth, the draenei allied with the Alliance and aided them in the war in Outland.

Pretty Fly for a Draenei

Very much like Melyria's Night Elf guide, this one will be based both on fact from WoWPedia and other credible sources what little there is of it and logical speculation more so than fact, at least until Blizzard does the Draenei justice. Height: Draenei are taller than Night Elves, with many males exceeding 7' and the females close behind. This is not to say that a Draenei would be over 10' tall. I would think that close to 8. Weight: Male Draenei tend to be powerfully built, with broad shoulders. They average around lbs.

The draenei are a faction of uncorrupted eredar who fled their home world of Argus, and again from Draenor following the corruption of the orcs as part of Kil'Jaedan's plot to wipe out the draenei. Their base is on the Azuremyst Isles, near the west coast of Kalimdor, and they are part of the Alliance in the Burning Crusade expansion. Their capital city is the Exodar. Draenei males have tendrils coming out of their chin and a fan-like forehead plate which rises and overlaps other forehead plates behind it. Male draenei have large tails which are held erect by developed muscle structure.

Their base is on the Azuremyst Isles , near the west coast of Kalimdor , and they are part of the Alliance in the Burning Crusade expansion. Their capital city is the Exodar. A draenei priest and draenei paladin near The Exodar 's crash site. Long ago, on the planet of Argus , the Eredar race arose.
