This morning's key headlines from GenerationalDynamics. When Spain's enormous housing bubble burst, it left behind millions of unsold properties and hundreds of unfinished housing developments. Spain's senior officials, led by Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, have been issuing statements for weeks, each one more vehement than the last, that Spain will absolutely, positively NOT ask for a bailout. These statements continued all through the day on Friday, as rumors swirled that Spain was about to ask for a bailout over the weekend. But leaks emanating from unnamed EU officials in Brussels and Berlin are saying that an announcement will be made on Saturday afternoon that Spain is seeking a bailout. Spain has to rush, since it's thought that the EU has to reach a decision before Greece's June 17 election, which might trigger a market panic.

We are booked at the Pelican Beach for the week of June Can anyone tell me how the beach out front looks right now? From what I have managed to read on the internet I'm assuming that they hadn't gotten that far down the beach with the renourishment project and it doesn't look like they are going too by the time we get there. We stayed there two years ago and It was beautiful. I'm hoping that its not too beat up now.
